This image came directly from a meditation on opening the heart chakra. I saw it several months ago but I put off trying to translate it into oil paint and earthly colors. Instead, I held it inside my mind, my own sacred space. While this vision was very personal to me I know it is universal. We all have fears and we all have armor around our heart centers. What we also have is this perfect lotus of love ready to burst into full bloom given the slightest opening of the door. The original is oil on canvas, 16″ x 16″, and is now part of a private collection. Giclée prints are available.
