Ajna Chakra
This image of the dwelling place of the third eye chakra came to me in stages during several meditations. At first it was simply an eye suspended in a swirling rainbow sea. Then I became aware that it was fed by the column of energy under it, which originated beneath the red line of physicality. This column then turned into a spiraling serpentine channel of light. When the serpent meets the eye it forms another spiral of white light which then extends in an unending pattern. The triangle came last and was added as a stabilizing symbol of the spirit, the mind and the heart. The original is oil on panel, 20″ x 24″. Giclée prints are available.
